Bristol Psychology Services provides a central point of contact for clients located in Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset who are seeking evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy from a psychologist or therapist working in private practice. Bristol Psychology Services enables clients to be referred to a network of Affiliate Therapists working autonomously from various clinic locations in Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire. We are also able to match clients based further afield with Bristol-based therapists offering E-Therapy (tele/online therapy sessions using platforms such as Zoom).

Affiliate therapists assess and provide therapy for clients of all ages; children, adolescents and adults. We ensure that those seeking psychological assessment and treatment are matched with a highly qualified local therapist working in private practice.

Clients contacting Bristol Psychology Services are seeking professional, sensitive psychological therapeutic input for a broad spectrum of emotions such as low mood, anxiety, stress or trauma symptoms – either for themselves or for their child. Identifying the right therapist working in private practice can be difficult and daunting. Bristol Psychology Services avoids clients having to contact multiple different therapists; instead they can make one enquiry, outline their concerns and then be matched with a therapist working independently in Bristol, Bath or South Gloucestershire who has the apporpriate skills, training and expertise to work with them.

Fees

Clients either pay for therapy themselves or use private healthcare cover to fund sessions. A number of therapists affiliated with the service are registered as approvided clinical providers with leading private healthcare insurers, such as BUPA, AXA PPP, Simply Health, Vitality (formerly PruHealth) and AVIVA. Please let us know if you are hoping for treatment to be funded by your provider when you enquire as only certain affiliates are registered with specific providers.

The therapists affiliated with Bristol Psychology Services are also able to provide workshops and bespoke teaching and training packages to organisations and groups within Bristol and nationwide. A wide range of topics can be covered by affiliate therapists who are highly qualified in their area.
